Anzac Day Service Times – MCNA Sponsoring the Woodend service

Our organised team have collated Anzac Day Services in the Ipswich, Scenic Rim and Lockyer Valley.

We sponsor the Woodend service as we remember our Australian and New Zealand soldiers and the legacy of all those who have followed in their footsteps.

Gatton

4.15 am: Dawn Service – for a 4.28am start at the Weeping Mothers Memorial, Littleton Park, Hickey Street, Gatton.

10am: Main Service -March and Service – The March will form up outside the Council office in North Street for a 10.30am start. The March will lead to the Boer War Memorial then to Littleton Park for the service. Vehicles will be available at the forming up point for transportation of ex-service personnel. All current and ex-service men and women, as well as people representing ex-service personnel, schools, sporting and community clubs are invited to participate in the Anzac Day March and service. Laidley

4.20 am: Dawn Service – for a 4.28am start at the Anzac Memorial Park, Patrick Street, Laidley.

10am: Main Service – March and Service – The March assembly will be outside the Anglican Church, Ambrose Street for a 10.20am start. All current and ex-service men and women, as well as people representing ex-service personnel, schools, sporting and community clubs are invited to participate in the Anzac Day March and service. It is preferred uniforms are worn. For more information email [email protected].

Forest Hill

9am: March and ServiceAssembly for the Forest Hill Anzac Day March will be 9am, with the March leading to Memorial park for a 9.15am start to the service. All current and ex-service men and women, as well as people representing ex-service personnel, schools, sporting and community clubs are invited to participate in the Anzac Day March and service. Helidon

12.15pm: March and ServiceAssembly for the Anzac Day March and service is at Helidon Railyard for a 12.30pm start to the service, wreath laying and ceremony. All community groups and schools are invited to participate. Following the ceremony, the community is invited to Helidon RSL and Community Centre for a luncheon and refreshments. Grantham / Ma Ma Creek

7.30pm: Service at the Ma Ma Creek Community Hall followed by a light supper. Everyone is invited to attend. For more information contact Narelle Peach on 0438 787 508.

Withcott

7.45am: Service at the Withcott memorial, Meadows Road, Withcott for an 8am start for the Anzac Day service, wreath laying and ceremony. Following the ceremony the community is invited to Withcott Hotel for refreshments. For more information contact Ron Smith on 4630 3058.

Hatton Vale

7.30am: Service, wreath laying and ceremony at Hatton Vale Memorial, Cnr Australia II Drive and Thallon Road. For more information email [email protected].
