2020 Breast Friends Charity Golf Day

“On behalf of Breast Friends Limited, we would like to thank you for your partnership and continued support of the Breast Friends Charity golf day.  As mentioned on the day, we welcome McNamara Law as a sponsor of our charity event and we are thankful for your kind and generous support.  This partnership is very special to all of us at Breast Friends and I hope we can continue to work together in the future.

Your generosity helps us continue in our commitment to improve the well-being for people with cancer, their families and carers.  All proceeds from the Breast Friends Charity Golf day will be passed on to our chosen charity partners, Look Good Feel Better, Mummy’s Wish and the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute.  We hope you and your guests enjoyed your day and we hope to see you back in 2021.  We are thrilled to announce on the 6th March our charity golf day raised $12,260.00.

The generous support of sponsors like you makes it possible for our organisation to exist and achieve our goals.

Please accept our most sincere thanks for your support.”

Ipswich Legacy’s 90th Anniversary Breakfast

On Friday 13th Sept, our Kevin Steed, Peter Wilkinson and Carey Waterworth attended the Ipswich Legacy’s 90th Anniversary Breakfast. Kurt Fearnley AO, 3 times gold medalist, was the inspirational Guest speaker. McNamara Law is proud to be associated with Legacy – IPSWICH as honorary lawyers.

Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle Challenge

Jeremy Bruce, Nigel Lucas, Daniel Francis and Tony Shaw flew the McNamara Law flag by participating in the Brisbane to Gold Coast 100km cycle challenge – The funds raised go to Smiling for Smiddy – Ride the Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle Challenge and Go the Extra Mile by Raising Vital Funds for Charity

The Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle Challenge has teamed up with Mater’s Smiling for Smiddy in 2019.

Bicycle Queensland is proud to support the research team at Mater’s world-class research institute. Here researchers and clinicians are working hand in hand, ensuring our understanding and treatment of cancer moves from the research lab bench to the patient’s bedside as quickly as possible, here in Brisbane and around the world.

Mater’s Smiling For Smiddy

Mater’s Smiling for Smiddy program wants to raise over $1.3 million for Mater Research in 2018 – a world-class institute that’s investing in some very promising work in the cancer space. Money raised will go towards funding a range of potentially life-changing projects for those suffering from melanoma, prostate, ovarian and breast cancer. And it will contribute to the impact of global research by funding collaborations with researchers in Queensland and around the world.

MCNA do the Ipswich 100

The MCNA Cycling Team rode the Ipswich 100 on 17 April 2016.

We were proud to be associated with such a great event, not to mention to be supporting a bunch of great community organisations.

You need to consult a lawyer early in all family law matters, to help you understand your legal rights and how the law applies in your situation.

We offer a low-priced initial meeting to discuss your family law issues, all your possible options, and provide an estimate of costs for the proposed action. All our Family Law matters are treated on a case by case basis. You will always receive personal attention and understanding of your sensitive issues. We aim to resolve your issues in the most cost-efficient and effective way. We make sure your rights and the rights of your children are protected.

Ipswich Community

MCNA Cycling

The MCNA Cycling team will be riding in the Ipswich 100 and the Brisbane Mt. Cootha Challenge.

The cycling kits worn by the riders display the Cycling Safety Fund logo which was established in Ipswich.

In relation to our regular cycling regime, we’ve decided to set up a McNamara Monthly ride with the route starting at our Springfield Office, heading into Ipswich and past our new office on Ellenborough Street in Ipswich Central (currently being refurbished and fitout) and then back to Springfield Office (at Orion) – see attached Strava route.  It is a 50km ride, with an average speed between 26 and 28 klm per hour.

We are planning on heading off at 5:30am from Orion Lagoon, 155 Southern Cross Circuit, Springfield Central with the option for the group to stop at Cactus Expresso Bar in Ipswich for a half price coffee (or to have coffee at the Coffee Club at Orion upon our return).

For those in Ipswich, you may want to do the ride in reverse (starting at Cactus) which would mean meeting the Springfield starting group at approximately 6:30am (or a bit before).

We will plan on riding the first Sunday of each month.  However, the first ride will be on Saturday, 6 February 2016.

We hope to see you there!
